We are Mabel and Michal, based in Bristol, UK.
Since physically colliding at our first acrobatics event, we’ve brought our varied movement and theatrical backgrounds together into a partnership dedicated to spreading joy and creativity across the UK and beyond.
We create opportunities for people of all levels to come together to learn, share and play with partner and group acrobatics.
We are event organisers of conventions, jams, and workshops; active practitioners; and acro teachers locally and internationally.
We specialise in standing acrobatics, combining the discipline of hand-to-hand with creative partner acrobatics and dance lifts. We particularly enjoy sequences with flowing transitions, and exploring creative possibilities by working together.
Get to know us
With roots in both the North and the South of the UK, we aim to run events that serve and bring together the UK acro community, as well as appealing to a broader international audience.
Our flagship event is the Standing Acro Convention in Bristol each July, which celebrates the ambition and creativity of partner and group acrobatics with a selection of the best teachers we know from around the world.
We organise Bristol Acro Weekends in March and October, community events that are accessible to all levels of experience and incorporate a mixture of styles including acroyoga, icarian, and circus acrobatics.
We also organise the Yorkshire Acro Convention in April.
