About us
We are Mabel and Michal.
After a chance collision at an acrobatics event in 2022, we teamed up to bring our varied movement and theatrical backgrounds into a shared creative partnership. From our base in Bristol we focus on sharing the joy of acro across the UK and beyond.
We are event organisers, teachers, and active practitioners, passionate about creating welcoming spaces where people can connect, play, and grow through partner and group acrobatics.
We specialise in standing acrobatics, blending hand-to-hand and dance lifts into dynamic sequences with smooth, flowing transitions. At the heart of it, we love exploring what’s possible when people move and create together.
Our Events
Our flagship Standing Acro Convention takes place in Bristol each July: a celebration of ambition, creativity, and high-level partner and group acrobatics, led by some of our favourite teachers from across the globe.
Alongside this, we run Bristol Acro Weekends in March and October: accessible, community-focused gatherings open to all levels, blending acroyoga, icarian, and circus acrobatics.
We also host the Yorkshire Acro Convention each April, continuing to grow and connect the northern acro scene.
