About Us

We are Mabel and Michal.

Since colliding (physically!) at our first acrobatics event, we’ve brought our varied movement and theatrical backgrounds together into a partnership dedicated to spreading the joy and creativity of acro in the UK and beyond.

We create opportunities for people of all levels to come together to learn, share and play acro. We organise conventions, events, jams, and workshops in partner and group acrobatics in our hometowns of Bristol and Leeds. We also teach partner acrobatics workshops ourselves around the UK and now the world!

We specialise in standing acrobatics, combining the discipline of hand-to-hand with creative partner acrobatics and dance lifts. We particularly enjoy training and teaching sequences with flowing transitions, and exploring creative possibilities by working together.

Our Events

Thanks to our roots in both the North and the South of the UK, we are able to run acro events that serve the whole of the UK – and even bring our international friends over!

Our flagship event is the Standing Acro Convention in Bristol each summer. We also run community events in spring and autumn, with jams and workshops throughout the year.
